The village is home to a well-stocked village shop with all the essentials you need for a holiday and a pub, Derwent Walk Inn, for those wanting a hearty meal or refreshing pint. You'll also find Ebchester West Wood, a stunning semi-natural woodland home to a vast variety of wildlife, where you can take morning walks or runs, breathing in the fresh air. The forest borders the River Derwent where you'll find a small cascading fall and during warmer months why not try some paddleboarding?
