Castle Walk in Amble is a well-situated cottage offering comfort and convenience. Guests appreciate its proximity to transport, shops, and the harbour. The property is praised for its tasteful decor, quality furnishings, and prompt owner responses. While parking is off-street and the entrance has been noted for untidy bins, the interior cleanliness and amenities contribute to a pleasant stay.
The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with well-kept rooms and fresh bedding. However, some guests noted dust and cleanliness issues with kitchen utensils and artificial flowers, slightly lowering the score.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to local amenities, dog walking, and the marina. Its central position in Amble makes it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the quality of the beds and living space. Some concerns about temperature control and the need for a handrail in the bathroom are noted.
The property is well-equipped, with modern decor and spacious rooms. However, some kitchen utensils were reported as unusable, and there were suggestions for updating the information folder and improving safety features.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the host, so it is not possible to assess this category.
