Percy Woods is a well-established country park within walking distance of a beautiful Northumbrian village, with beautiful woodland walks and the opportunity to encounter a variety of wildlife. There is a café on site and the owners regularly invite a pop-up bar, pizza/take away food van and more to add a bit of variety to your stay.
Percy Wood Country Retreat is a great central location for discovering what Northumberland coast and countryside has to offer, including castles, stately homes, market towns, pretty villages, and beaches. On-site there’s a fabulous children’s adventure playground area, multi-purpose games court, social areas, and a coffee shop for refreshments. Swarland is a lovely little village in Northumberland where you can have afternoon refreshments at Nelsons coffee shop and sample their wonderful home cooked cakes and pastries overlooking a great park where the kids can play. In the evening relax with a drink or two, play bingo and enjoy the live acts of the Swarland village club. In neighbouring villages sample some fabulous Northumbrian hospitality at the local pubs and restaurants.
