After a day of exploring, return to prepare an evening meal and gather together to dine before switching on the TV for a slower-paced evening indoors. When it's time to turn in, two double bedrooms offer a place to rest ahead of another day of adventure, while the wet room provides a convenient space to freshen up each morning. The Victorian seaside resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea is well named owing to the sweeping sandy beaches and spectacular coastline of glacial boulder clays. Located at the northern tip of the North York Moors, this small town has an elegant charm about it with a dramatic steep curving roadway which leads from the town centre to the beach. With its long pier and unique cliff lift, this pretty seaside resort appeals to people of all ages wishing to combine the coast with the moors. The refurbished town centre has excellent amenities with a variety of independent shops, tea rooms and restaurants. Enjoy the wide vistas from the elevated promenade or visit the Valley Gardens for a relaxing stroll.

It was in beautiful tranquil surroundings and we wouldn't hesitate to go back and to recommend. The only slight downside for us was not being able to walk into Saltburn but it is just a short drive

Everything was as it should be , comfortable enough seating and beds . From this point of view you couldnât ask for much more . There are a couple of minor problems for me personally. First is the WIFI isnât great and if like me you had a 7 year old who likes his tv and his Nintendo and it keeps dropping out then itâs annoying. The second thing is because of its location you canât walk anywhere. The car is needed for everything . You can walk around the grounds but thatâs it . These are minor gripes as the actual cabin is nice .

The cottage was very clean and we had all we needed for our stay. In a lovely country location. Our little dog enjoyed walking round the green and meeting new friends from the other cottages. We were very comfortable here and the shops were very close by. We have booked to come back here again next year.
