Deceptively spacious and with plenty of room for guests on two and four paws, the hut is blessed with a series of stained-glass windows that invite a kaleidoscope of colours to fall onto the rustic and contemporary soft furnishings inside. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a wood burner, ample work surface space and seating, along with the cosy double bed only a few paw prints behind. A shower room adjoins the hut and the enclosed garden area comprises a hot tub, a BBQ and seating.

The Peak District National Park is a haven for walkers, cyclists and water sports lovers. For those who prefer to take things a little slower, there is plenty to occupy nature lovers, history buffs and foodies. The latter will be well served in Hartington, a dog-friendly village blessed with numerous amenities. The popular Wolfscote and Beresford Dales (within 1 mile) are crisscrossed by footpaths and bridleways, while the High Peak and Tissington trails are within 3 miles.
