The barn with a thatched roof is set in the countryside with views over fields and the sea in the distance. The garden and surroundings are beautiful. The kitchen is open plan with units of the era of the eighties. There is a lack of cupboard and worktop space. The fridge is under the worktop and is quite small and a dishwasher. .There is a small chest freezer and washing machine in an out building. The kitchen needs updating and re designed keeping the country theme. The bathroom has a large eighties style corner bath with a small eighties style shower cubicle. Again needs updating. There is no wardrobe in the second bedroom only a small chest of drawers. The master bedroom has a tall boy wardrobe only suitable for baby and children’s clothing. The bedroom is big but very bland and needs a splash of colour to enhance the country theme. The lounge area is nice with views of the garden but there are no views over the countryside or the sea view. There is no fireplace and an electric wood burner would have completed the county feel. It is very peaceful and a lovely place to relax.

Fantastic cottage in a quiet location close to the sea. Owners are attentive but distant if required. They left a lovely welcome basket of goodies which was very appreciated after a long journey. There is nothing they havent thought of to make your stay enjoyable. The cottage is clean and well decorated. The garden area is superb with fantastic views. Facilities are excellent. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely place to stay. It feels like someone’s home rather than a ‘holiday let’ with lots of home comforts, books, games, and a really well stocked kitchen. The photos on the website are an accurate representation. The garden is fully enclosed which is great if you have dogs and the little courtyard area is a lovely place for eating outdoors. There is a gas BBQ which we used and extra deck chairs and outdoor games in the shed. Beds were comfy and everywhere was very clean. Short drive to Bude town centre and the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here and would like to return!
