Walkers and cyclists can venture across the wilderness of Bodmin Moor, or perhaps discover the wealth of interesting shops and eateries in the nearby ancient market town of Liskeard. If a trip to a renowned Cornish seaside is on your list, a 10-mile trip south will bring you to the bustling fishing village of Looe. It is home to a choice of beaches and small winding streets with a great selection of pubs and restaurants making an enjoyable day out. Alternatively, hop on the train for the short journey to the famous naval city of Plymouth, for a wide range of attractions and shops. A variety of National Trust properties and gardens are easily reached. A village placed South East of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. St Cleer offers two pubs serving food, as well as a shop and Post Office, a farm shop and a Grade I listed church. Bodmin Moor, an aonb, is great for walking, cycling and admiring scenery, the Tamar Valley aonb is also easy to reach. For a wider range of amenities, head to Liskeard, also boasting its own museum. Looe is 10 miles south.
