Rebuilt in the 1820s it is Grade II listed, together with the two bridges in the grounds – one of which forms part of the entrance drive. The manor house and coach house have been converted into apartments, all furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with many luxurious touches that will appeal to the most discerning of visitors. Access to the front door of the Manor is by three stone steps. Some of the accommodation features four poster beds, some offer spa baths and some offer saunas.
Heron is a first floor studio-style apartment, whilst Riverview and Riverbank enjoy a secluded position on the banks of the small cascading river, with pretty aspects across the river and parkland towards the lake – these two cottages include special features to make them suitable for wheelchair users.
Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor, in an enviable position overlooking the fishing lake, and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor living room and large balcony.
Rosecraddoc Manor is surrounded by 35 acres of natural gardens and bluebell woods that beckon to you to stroll along its footpaths. The lake is well stocked for coarse fishing, with carp, roach and bream, and the all weather tennis court can be enjoyed April – October. There are several pubs locally.

Quiet place to stay it was clean and comfortable the only downside was that the electric cost was added as an extra, It should have been included the same as other destinations but otherwise it was a nice place to stay

Sadly we were disappointed with our stay at Rosecraddoc Manor. Whilst the grounds are beautiful and quiet for a get away, the accommodation and hosting was disappointing. The apartment was clean and did have the basics you need in the kitchen and nice bed linen. The biggest disappointment was the supposed touch of luxury of the sauna in the accommodation - this did not work. There are extra charges for wifi and expensive electricity considering we were there in the summer when no heating or lighting is used and the electric sauna was out of action - used only to store the hoover and mop and bucket we found housed there on arrival. You have to take your own towels and not even a bar of soap to wash your hands is provided in the toilet - rather a bottle of cleaning product and cloth left out for you, which was kind of the feel and theme of place, starting with the initial meeting with the host - rather than a nice friendly hello we were greeted abruptly and with instructions of how the property should be left, which we appreciate not everyone does respectfully leave it in good order, but it was not the most welcoming of starts and the hosts did not reply to our query re: the broken sauna. The fishing lake is in need of attention as it is currently over-run with lilies ( beautiful to look at, but not good for anglers ) and the website needs updating, there are no facilities in the Rosecraddoc holiday village that can be used as these closed during Covid. We are sad that we are not able to recommend Rosecraddoc Manor; it feels that it does not provide the service, facilities or value for money compared to many other holiday providers on the market these days for example, generally I only expect to pay for electricity and bring my own towels when camping these days, not staying with a touch of luxury in the coach-house of a manor. A very disappointing stay.

Rosecraddock Manor is in a good position just outside Liskeard. The southern coastal resorts of Looe and Polperro are under 15 miles and Padstow, Tintagel, etc to the North are well under 30.Hayloft was clean and had all the facilities you might need. I cannot recommend Hayloft for two reasons. First, the stone steps to the front door are steep, uneven and need a high step. Although there is a wooden handrail to one side.Secondly, the accommodation smelled musty, even with the windows left open. It may be the doormats or simply that it is part of an old building, but it was unpleasant on returning when it was all closed up.However, we would definitely return to Rosecraddock Manor and stay at one of the other properties - probably one overlooking the lake which is a great feature.
