This delightful pod has been extended and is the perfect romantic escape for a couple who love something a bit different. Situated at the end of a long farm lane, it offers complete peace and tranquillity yet is only 11 miles from the vibrant city of Exeter. Sit back in the hot tub and drink in the gorgeous valley views, a glass of champagne in hand, while the BBQ smokes in the background; there’s no need to rush in this laid-back part of Devon.
Inside the pod, you are provided with all home comforts. An open-plan living area makes the most of the space with a kitchen and living/dining area. Here you can sit cosy while gazing out at the country views from inside, and on warmer days, just open the quirky circular doors to create a seamless space with the decked area outside. Step into the separate bedroom which has a super king size bed, freestanding bath and an en-suite shower room.
If you can tear yourself away from this little retreat, take a drive into Bickleigh, 3 miles from the pod, where you will find a popular mill with boutique shops and local foods. The nearby town of Tiverton (4 miles) is also worth the short journey with boats for hire on the pretty canal and a horse-drawn barge, one of last remaining in the UK. A spectacular sight to see, it offers a unique afternoon out, and one that will stay in your memory for years to come.
