Lovely cottage. Had a great stay and would stay again. Kids absolutely loved it. Location was great in the country side with good driving distance to great days out to different tourist destinations

However the cottage is Extremely remote with rds V narrow & blind bends which made driving difficult especially with the bad weather we had. The sofa by the window is extremely uncomfortable to sit on, both look lovely but are feather filled & basically squash to nothing when you sit on them. The bath is a roll top & high with shower over the top so care needs to be taken. I would suggest owners get a bath mat to put in the bath to avoid any miss haps of slipping. Bed was comfortable with lovely crisp white bedding. Plenty of utensils, hot water & heating. The path to property is gravel & the step up is a bit high with no grab rail for those that may need a little help. The windows could do with a good clean so as to enjoy the lovely scenery. We would not return but only because although it states it is remote we found it far TOO remote for us. Shops & pub take a good 20 mins to drive to down V tight country rds. Would recommend Rose & Crown pub. Excellent food & good price. Sherborne is wonderful with closed off high St for cars. Beautiful Abbey & a water mill just on the edge of town. Castle & gardens also a must see. Don't bother seeing the chalk man as it needs re chalking so nothing to see. Forgot to mention cottage has V nice secure garden with furniture & lovely fields/views to enjoy. We enjoyed our welcome gift & had a lovely stay.
