Lovely little cottage, clean & cosy. Had everything we needed, despite it's diminutive size!! Owners on hand and very helpful & approachable. Large, escape-proof field to give our dog a blast!! The property was on a fairly busy road, that said, it was generally pretty quiet. The odd logging lorry and farm vehicle aside.I would certainly recommend it to family and friends.

We have stayed at Gooses Roost previously because it suits our needs perfectly. Yes you will need transport to reach many of the local sites but there is also a bus stop on the road outside. We really valued it's farming environment and the owners Nicky and Tim were for us, on hand at a moments need. The little additions make the arrival more personal and with optional sleep arrangements you can't go wrong.

We really enjoyed our stay and the little touches that were waiting for us on arrival: biscuits, tea, coffee and flowers .Owners are lovely and accommodating and the location and cottage are beautiful. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
