A homely, quirky and well appointed cottage a stones throw from the town centre and its numerous facilities. The owner has made excellent use of the space, with thoughtful and imaginative touches throughout. We appreciated the hamper, for both us and the dog. There is so much to see and do in the area without needing to travel far, a week wasn’t long enough. I’ve marked down comfort because I kept banging my elbow on the bedside table in the morning, and I found the pillows a little uncomfortable (personal choice). The location is only marked down as it’s on a main road, and entry into the house is straight into the lounge / dining area. Neither would stop me booking again. There were overnight roadworks for a few nights during our stay, but could barely be heard in the bedroom, and is no reflection on the owner. Thanks Jan and Flo ❤️

Great welcome pack on arrival it was a lovely thoughtful touch and great start to our holiday. Fantastic walks in every direction from the cottage, the locals made us feel very welcome good food in both the Royal Oak and the Swan Hotel. We slept really well all week in a very comfortable bed and the cottage was well equipped for all our needs.
