This lovely property is set in the vibrant village of Whitchurch with a thriving local shop and cafe, an Indian restaurant, several nearby pubs, and restaurants, and two garages, both with small supermarkets. The next nearest town is Monmouth, an historical town just 6 miles from the property where you will also find two golf courses, shops, several churches, an historic independently owned cinema, many pubs and restaurants, an ancient medieval covered bridge, and the popular Nelson Museum. There is also a castle, near to the place where Henry V was born. This property is set on the edge of the beautiful Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Forest of Dean is very close by with walking, cycling, climbing, castle trails and many other activities to keep even the most active of guests entertained. Had a wonderful stay at clock tower cottage. It was perfect for our multi generational needs and we enjoyed the brilliant BBQ. Shop just at the end of the road and a pub which was great on an evening. Beautiful walks not far and the river wye was spot on for paddle boarding. Would love to stay again!

A lovely light and spacious house, in a great location with a lovely shop and a playground both just down the road. There's lots of things to do, either walking or a short drive away. Plus Linda was so helpful, accommodating and communicative. We're definitely hoping to go back!
