Settle is a market town resting in the south west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just 25 miles away from Kendal. It was very clean and had everything you could think of, from cleaning products to basic food stuffs. The lovely welcome pack was an added bonus. We would definitely return if we were in the area. We didnât use the games room so unable to comment on that. Overall 10/10. Thanks for having us.

2. Although weâve stayed in the area before, this was our first time in Settle. We initially booked to go to two musical events at Victoria Hall (both of which were sold out). The rest of the week was spent walking with a single trip on the Settle-Carlisle line. The cottage was very welcoming and the goodies provided were a bonus. The only downside? Not all of the garden was enclosed so needed to put Bran on a lead if he needed to go on the grass.

Added bonus of a games room. All facilities you would need in cottage, lovely touch of a welcome pack was a nice surprise. Location is a 10 minute walk into the quirky centre where you find some nice pubs & chip shop. Supermarket is a 10 minute walk also, all in all just what you need for a few days to recharge the batteries.
