Travelling further afield, either by foot or by car, you can discover other highlights: more picturesque waterfalls such as Hardraw Force (1 mile); market town Hawes, the home of Wensleydale cheese (9 miles); and the quirky, award winning attraction, The Forbidden Corner, with its labyrinth of tunnels and chambers (1 mile). Once you've admired the pretty stone exterior, you will step inside to be welcomed by a cosy open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. You will instantly notice how original features from the 19th century building such as the exposed stone walls and beams have blended with contemporary cottage style décor to create a homely feel, with underfloor heating as an added bonus.
