This unique cottage has a wealth of outstanding original features, with flagged stone floors, impressive exposed timbers and a beautiful entrance door. The mezzanine floor in this cottage houses the double bedroom and bathroom, and overlooks the comfortable sitting room below with its warming woodburner. For couples looking for a romantic retreat, this Pickering cottage is a little gem. Outside, a sheltered, sunny courtyard provides the perfect spot for an evening glass of wine. The bed was so comfortable and cosy. The little touch with wine and biscuits was lovely too. Definitely recommend especially the location for the Indian and Chinese next door. We just loved it
