A utility room on this floor is equipped with a washer/dryer and a large fridge/freezer for added convenience. Upstairs, the mezzanine offers a snug area, ideal for board games, reading, or simply soaking up the cabin’s cosy ambiance, there is also a balcony with distant sea views and a bistro set. The master bedroom, also on this floor, features a super king-sized bed and an en-suite shower room, providing a tranquil retreat for a restful night’s sleep.

The cabins are located near the former Scarborough-to-Whitby railway line, now transformed into a scenic trailway for cyclists and walkers alike. A short walk leads to a secluded bay with twin waterfalls, a site linked to pirates and smugglers in local folklore. Staintondale is perfectly positioned between the vibrant town of Scarborough and the historic fishing port of Whitby. The surrounding area boasts numerous quaint villages such as Ravenscar, Robin Hood’s Bay, and Runswick Bay, all within easy reach. A lovely lodge - very well appointed, comfortable and clean. Highly recommended. The WiFi was a bit hit and miss so improving that would be good but this doesn't retract from this being a fabulous holiday venue.

We were met by the host who was very welcoming and has fantastic local knowledge. The welcome pack was very nice. The place itself was very clean and cosy. The area is super with great walks and nearby beaches which our dog loves. We used the Cleveland way between Ravenscar and Staintondale. Great views but path goes very close to the edge with a massive drop so keep dogs on a very short lead. The local Cinder Track walk is very close to this property and is very good. Just a tongue in cheek comment, the property coulld do with a larger tv to help our tired old eyes😊😊.We had a great stay.

An amazing wooden cottage in a beautiful location. Fabulous walks near by and a short drive to Scarborough and Whitby- where there are plenty of amenities. The cottage was exceptionally well presented and equipped with everything you need and more. Very family and dog friendly. The owners were very friendly and helpful about the local area too. We would definitely recommend to others and would go back ourselves.
