Guests say

The Byre @ Camp Douglas is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and scenic location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space and thoughtful touches, including a welcome pack. While there are some concerns about water pressure and the summer house's safety, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests consistently note the cottage's spotless condition and high standard of cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable stay.

The scenic location is frequently mentioned, indicating that guests find the setting beautiful and ideal for exploring Dumfries and Galloway.

Comfortable beds and good linen are highlighted, although there is a mention of a noisy boiler and water pressure issues, slightly affecting the comfort level.

The property is well-equipped, but some guests suggest additional kitchen items and express concerns about the summer house and decking safety.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome pack and birthday decorations. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, guests should consider this a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.
