Beautiful cosy clean cottage in a stunning environment. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday with some lovely walks along the coast and in the countryside. Lots of activities locally too for the children. We loved Opal Alpacas. Local takeaways very tasty too. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could possibly need and the hot tub was a real treat. Looking at the stars while in the hot tub was amazing. The owner was helpful without being overbearing and recommended local things to do etc, the prosecco he left when we arrived was a lovely detail and much appreciated. Will definitely be back!

We have just had two weeks here and have enjoyed it.It’s pretty much out in the stix and if you would like a relaxing holiday this is the place to go.If you have a dog it’s hard gravel outside and our dog cut his paw on it so I think maybe something with smaller gravel, it also has a front garden which is grass which was nice. Also a nice hot tub out the back.I think the bungalow needs redecorating and some new carpets. We enjoyed our time there and I would reckon it.

We had a fantastic stay at Mid-Bishopton Cottage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.The cottage is perfectly located for exploring the surrounding villages and countryside. One of the highlights of our trip was how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Locals were always happy to stop for a chat and share recommendations, which helped us discover even more places to visit and things to do during our stay.James was a wonderful host. He popped over to introduce himself shortly after we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, offering suggestions for places to visit and eat, but in a way that was completely unobtrusive. It struck the perfect balance between being helpful and giving guests their space. The cottage itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The secure garden was ideal for our Spaniel and Collie, allowing them to enjoy the outdoors safely. The size of the cottage was perfect for us and would also work brilliantly for a family.Having stayed in many holiday cottages over the years, we've often found that kitchens can be rather sparsely equipped, making proper home cooking difficult. That certainly wasn't the case here. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with cookware, utensils, crockery and serving dishes, and we had no trouble preparing a full Sunday roast. It genuinely felt like a home from home.Overall, Mid-Bishopton Cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. Comfortable, well-equipped, dog-friendly, and ideally situated, it provided the perfect base for a relaxing and enjoyable break. We would happily return.
