When you’re ready to explore, Buckie is a small fishing town boasting great wildlife and scenery which stretches over to Bow Fiddle Rock where you can bask in splendid vistas across the sealine, headlands and beyond; for the daredevils amongst your group, why not try your hand at a variety of watersports that are available here and keep an eye out for dolphins, ospreys and otters which can all be seen from the mouth of Spey Bay.
For golfers, there are six courses located close by. If you enjoy a whisky you are just 20 miles from some of the most famous Speyside distilleries which will offer on-site attractions and tours. A truly exceptional holiday home and location not to be missed.

The cottage is a lovely old renovated fishing cottage. It is right by the sea and well placed for visiting other spots in the area. We loved it and spent Christmas here. The owners were very helpful and had it ready set up for a Christmas break. It was perfect for two, four would be maximum as the living room is small and cosy. A very nice place for us, very clean and well presented. We would definitely recommend to others.

As we walked it we felt the Croft cottage was immaculate.. lovely treats were left for usVery dog friendly. Great location. Mark was very accommodating he let us book in a couple of hour earlier..The location was lovely we used the local fish monger. Fresh and if they hadn’t got it they told you when they were going to catch it.. lovers the location great scenery. We would see certain birds arrive as certain times of the day and evening. We sat and watched the seals. We visited the sun pub a few times. Played pool with the landlady our dog tinker loved it..We forgot to post this in the 3rd week of September we went. We loved it so much we’re going back 2nd week September 2026

Stayed at the cottage with my wife for 3 weeks in November to support a house hunt in the area. What a wonderful location and property to search from. Mark was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Stand out features of the cottage were the breathtaking views, fast WiFi, log-burning stove and having all the household items you would expect in your own home. Cottage has a good heating system so always toasty warm and a plentiful supply of hot water. It also has Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. This was my first AirB&B experience in UK and it did not disappoint. So much so we didn’t want to leave?! Lovely walking from the cottage and surrounding area, loads of golf courses ;) and local amenities. Thank you for making lasting memories - highly recommended.
