Guests say

Shedend is a well-loved cottage praised for its cleanliness, superb location near the sea, and comfortable beds. Guests enjoy the peaceful setting and proximity to wildlife, with some returning multiple times. The lack of WiFi and dated sofas are noted, but these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experiences.

Guests consistently describe Shedend as very clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The cottage's location is highly regarded for its closeness to the sea, Spey Bay, and local attractions, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts.

The beds are mentioned as super comfortable, and the cottage has a homely feel. However, some guests suggest that the sofas could be updated for enhanced comfort.

While the cottage is appreciated for its essentials, guests have suggested improvements such as better kitchen knives, a shower caddy, and the addition of WiFi. The lack of these items suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

This was our 3rd time staying at Shedend. Such a great cottage in a great location near the sea and only a few miles from Elgin for all the shops. Very clean and tidy, and a lovely place to stay.

lovely little cottage just ideal for us, as soon as we walked through the door we felt well relaxed. 5 minutes drive from the beach and nearest golf course half an hour from Elgin and easy driving to the local spots of interest.

We had a peaceful & relaxing week at Shedend. Lovely location & only a few minutes drive to Spey Bay, great for dolphin & bird watching, there is also a great little cafe & gift shop there. There is no wifi at the property but this wasn't a problem. Lovely spacious semi detached bungalow. Our dog, Blu loved the outside space. There is a large Tesco in nearby Buckie, which was a 10-15 minute drive.
