Hartholm is a comfortable and modest self-catering bungalow set in an elevated position with stunning views of Goatfell and has a private garden and patio for relaxing in. The sun room at the rear of the property has access out to the back garden whilst the large windows in the living room allow you to enjoy the stunning view of the mountains. It is set in a quiet residential street within walking distance (via a steep hill) to all the amenities in Brodick, which include shops, bars and restaurants, the beach, children’s play park and golf club. This property is in an ideal location to base your Arran holiday and enjoy the mountain views.

Its in a good place. Central to town. Its old n needs mobilising plus the bath slip mat needed cleaning as it was minging as well as the bath.

This was our 4th visit to Hartholm but was very disappointed with how rundown it has become. The location and view are excellent. However, there are a number of issues which need to be addressed. When we stayed there two years ago, the wardrobe door in the back bedroom was broken and there was a smell of dampness in the front bedroom. Neither of these issues have been addressed and the smell of dampness is now a lot worse. There is also a lot of black damp patches on the ceiling. It is advertised as having an enclosed garden. However, the grass was so long, we couldn't actually use the garden all week. Internally, the house is comfortable but we had to clean the cooker, fridge and microwave, before we could use them, which wasn't a great start to the holiday. I have previously recommended the property to friends and family. However, in its current state, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We really liked the bungalow , Hartholm, where we stayed last week. We thought it was very well equipped, and would recommend it to anyone. We felt the owners and the housekeeper had gone the extra mile, providing extra toilet rolls, hand soap, and towels. Also providing us with milk in the fridge. We will certainly book here again.Just one tiny thing isn't they can keep the lawn cut that would be great as it was difficult to pick up after pur dog when thee grass is long. But that is just a small thing. Many thanks to the owners and to the housekeeper.
