Guests say

Rwgan is a charming, characterful cottage in a tranquil, secluded setting, ideal for those seeking peace and proximity to beautiful beaches and countryside walks. Guests consistently praise the spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the relaxing hot tub. The property is undergoing gradual improvements, with new windows and ongoing renovations noted. While some mention issues with damp, cleanliness, and maintenance, most guests enjoyed their stay, highlighting the helpfulness of the owner and the property's unique, homely atmosphere.

Several guests found the property clean and well-presented, but a notable number reported issues such as superficial cleaning, dirty windows, and some areas needing more attention. A few reviews mentioned having to clean on arrival or encountering bugs, indicating inconsistency in cleaning standards.

The location is frequently described as peaceful, secluded, and ideal for relaxation, with easy access to beaches, countryside walks, and local attractions. Guests appreciated the tranquillity and privacy, making it a standout feature of the property.

Most guests found the cottage spacious, homely, and comfortable, with cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. Occasional issues with damp, heating, or maintenance were mentioned, but these did not generally detract from the overall comfort for the majority of guests.

The hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, and ample space are frequently praised. However, some guests noted maintenance issues such as broken guttering, windows needing replacement, and occasional problems with the boiler or showers. Ongoing improvements are evident, but some facilities require further attention.

Guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as complimentary firewood and a well-stocked kitchen, and found the owner responsive and helpful. However, as gifts and extras are not guaranteed, future guests should not expect these as standard.

This house is lovely, and the price is very reasonable! It's in a great, secluded and quiet location. The house has plenty of room, and lots of things to do, as well as the lovely hot tub and garden. The kitchen is cute and well equipped. The beds are comfortable, with plenty of space. The dining room and living room are great places to hang out and play games. The attic room has a variety of books for everyone, and we even did some painting at the big desk. The house is within walking distance of Llangrannog, along the lane, where there is a lovely local shop selling vegetables and more. We will definitely return. Thank you.

Unfortunately we had a horrible holiday place was dirty with broken equipment. House and gardens could be beautiful but need lots of TLC before it is let as a holiday home. Owner is lovely I think he hires people to care for the house who just take his money and don’t do the job. I won’t go into more detail out of respect for him. But our family holiday was ruined and I don’t want that to happen to anyone else.
