Close by, the grounds of Gregynog Hall offer year round interest including extensive woodland with waymarked walks and fine trees, rhododendrons and spring bulbs. Gardening enthusiasts and history lovers too will also delight in a visit to Powis Castle, 16 miles, a medieval fortress soaring dramatically above its world famous gardens. Now in the care of the National Trust, the castle houses a superb collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture, tapestries and treasures from India. Absolutely 5 star! Couldn't believe the size of the property as pics don't do it justice! Megan was so helpful, nothing was too much. The hot tub was so clean, immaculate and well maintained! What a lovely place to stay. Very peaceful and out of the way, just what we was looking for. The hot tub was nice and clean and overlooked lush country side. Mrs Owen was there to greet us and was lovely. Would highly recommend this place for a quiet peaceful get away. There are no close neighbours around so was perfect for the getaway we wanted as a groupPictures doesnt do this place justice, the kitchen is nice and spacious
