Guests say

Rhiew Banc is a spacious, well-equipped cottage in a peaceful rural setting, ideal for families, groups, and dog owners. Guests consistently praise the comfort of the beds, the extensive facilities including a hot tub and games room, and the beautiful, enclosed garden. The property is spotlessly clean and the owners are friendly and responsive. While the rural location means flies can be an issue, most guests found this manageable and outweighed by the tranquillity and amenities. Thoughtful touches such as welcome hampers and fresh eggs are appreciated, though not guaranteed. Many guests return year after year.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and well-presented, with no significant complaints about cleanliness. Only one review mentioned flies as a cleanliness concern, but this was attributed to the rural location rather than poor housekeeping.

The property is praised for its peaceful, secluded farm setting and beautiful views. While some guests noted the need to drive to amenities and attractions, most appreciated the tranquillity and proximity to nature. A few mentioned the lack of a local pub or shop, but overall the location is seen as a positive.

Guests consistently mention very comfortable beds, quality pillows, and spacious living areas. The cottage is described as a 'tardis' with plenty of room for large groups, and the garden is ideal for dogs. Fans are provided in hot weather, and thick walls/windows ensure a quiet stay.

The property offers a wide range of facilities, including a hot tub, full-size snooker table, darts, smart TVs in every room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large enclosed garden. Maintenance is generally praised, with only minor comments about the hot tub cover. Facilities are a major highlight for guests.

Many guests mention welcome hampers with local treats and fresh eggs, as well as friendly, responsive owners. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, future guests should not expect them as standard.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! We thoroughly enjoyed every single second of our stay. The tranquil, peaceful surroundings were a dream, but the real showstopper was the games room—we spent hours playing on the full-sized snooker table and hitting the dart boards. Our only complaint? The stay simply wasn't long enough! We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back.

Lovely location, very quiet and private, snooker and darts a bonus, hot tub perfect at night gazing at the stars. Beds comfy, sofas comfy, all TVs are smart TVs. Flies are a pain but manageable. Would definitely return

Oh my goodness. We saw the photos and fell in love with this place before we arrived. We read the reviews and we agree! This place was the tardis! There was so much space. We arrived (2 adults and 3 teenagers and a dog) and we all ran around exploring straight away and claiming bedrooms. We never felt like we were under each others skin. We even had two sets of friends come for one night each and there was still plenty of space. We were there during the heatwave, so the fans provided really helped. The flies, yes they are there. But after a few days we got used to them and k re how to stop more and how to get rid of them. They did not spoil anything. The garden was amazing for our city dog. The hot tub was clean and a daily hit. The beds are actually so comfortable, everyone had great nights of sleep. Plenty of toilets so there were no arguments! The welcome basket was a hit and so many eggs. The owners gave us more for our second week and we were so grateful. They are so tasty. The garden was great for spotting bunnies, squirrels, song birds and birds of prey too. Newtown has bits to offer. Plenty of food shops and take aways. Nice little shops too.To get to all the sites, we always had to drive at least 40 - 60 minutes. But we planned the days out and made them count. Powis Castle, Craig Gogh Dam and Devils Bridge are must. Although Devils Bridge is not the faint hearted. Honestly this is one of the best places we have stayed. It was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We would happily stay here again and have shared with all our friends and family that they must stayed here. I would have loved to have stayed when it were a little colder just to use the fire place. I can imagine this being so warm and cozy at Christmas. 100% would recommend. This is a must stay. A truly lovely place and we missed it the moment we left. From The Molyneuxs
