Leave your vehicle in the off-road parking space, before making your way into your new home from home. Step into the small, yet well-equipped kitchen, where you can rustle up delicious meals for your loved ones to enjoy over a bottle of wine. You really are right in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) here and if you prefer a more leisurely pace, then the cottage with its patio and garden offers the perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quiet of this mountain retreat. There is even a fire pit to keep you warm while you look up at the stars at night.
After dinner, retire to the sitting room, where you can kick-back and relax in front of your favourite show on the Smart TV, as your four-legged friend snuggles up in front of the woodburning stove. Completing the ground-floor is a handy shower room, perfect for freshening up after hiking through the hills. Climb the stairs up to the first floor, where you will find two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a single, both of which are served by a handy cloakroom. Explore the local village, where you will find the charming dog-friendly Lakeside Café, serving a tasty menu and offering views out over the Tanygrisiau Reservoir, perfect for fuelling up for the day with a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast why not enjoy a leisurely stroll or cycle around the reservoir as you take in the amazing views on offer. For a wider selection of amenities, head into Blaenau Ffestiniog, where you can stock up on essentials at the convenience store, treat your loved ones to a meal at the welcoming eateries of King’s Head or Meirion Vaults, enjoy a fun-filled day at the popular Zip World Llechwedd, where you can explore the depths of an underground mine, take part in workshops and peruse exhibits. Keen cyclists will also delight at the Antur Stiniog bike park, which offers 14 fantastic mountain biking trails catering to all abilities.
Those feeling adventurous can take on the famous Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Peak, whilst if you came for the views but not the climb, you could hop aboard a train at Llanberis which will take you to the summit as you sit back and relax. Whilst in Llanberis, you can also find the attractions of Ceunant Mawr Waterfall, the National Slate Museum, Dolbadarn Castle and the Word Heritage Site of Dinorwig Quarry. As well as Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) being within easy reach, so is the coastal town of Portmeirion and some of Wales’s best beaches, including Harlech and Black Rock Sands. All this and more awaits with a stay at 9 West End.

Basic but as advertised. Great to be able to use the log burner. Great location. Right at the start of some great walks and short journeys to lots of Snowdonia's magnificence.
Tina
It was clean, warm and had everything we needed (except a hair dryer!). The bed was comfortable, it was amazingly quiet and the enclosed garden was perfect for the dog.
