  Had a lovely stay at hope farm the family are are very friendly and helpful.

  On arrival the cottage was clean and the welcome pack was a very nice touch . We took our dog along she had her own little welcome with her own blanket a food bowl and a doggie treat . The cottage was a good size with everything you need for your stay and everything on one level . There is a laundry room on site and even a washing line . There was also a chest freezer within the laundry room if you run out of space in your freezer compartment in your fridge. We found the large dog area at the rear of the property very useful for our dog to have a good runaround and she made friends with the owners dog Oreo who is absolutely adorable! And so were the horses ! We have two teenagers who both have autism and they loved the games room and spent a fair amount of time in there when we weren’t out and about. Location wise the cottage was a short drive to supermarkets, the many beaches ,pubs and the village is near too. We were able to order a couple of take aways too we even had a Sunday roast delivered by a local company called Baked which was outstanding ! All in all we had a very relaxing enjoyable stay and we will definitely return again ! Many thanks to Jane , Dave and Mia for a lovely stay !! From Paula , Steve and girls x

  Cozy little cottage adjoining the owners' farmhouse and hidden away from other cottages in the pretty courtyard of converted barns on this 400 year old farm.

  The owners have thought of everything, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, powerful shower, fresh bread, cakes, cider, apple juice, farm fresh milk and best of all the wood fired hot tub (the pond as we renamed it). There is nothing quite like relaxing in a steamy tub looking up at the stars. Great location for exploring Somerset too. Just a short drive to Brean or Burnham on Sea with their huge beaches and typical British seaside fun. A short drive inland to the Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels and dreamy Glastonbury. Lots of lovely small towns and villages to explore. Farm shops and cider farms at regular intervals with their delicious produce and to top it off some of the most welcoming and friendly people we have ever met on our travels. We will return soon. For a delicious breakfast very nearby Ollie's Cafe on Bristol Road in Brent Knoll is well worth a visit.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway.

  Welcome pack was lovely Cakes excellent and cider very good we are now confirmed cider drinkers! The garden was great for our dogs . Buddy our Jack Russell did manage to get up the side of the shed.we kept him out afterwards using the ornamental wheelbarrow planter! We covered the sofa with covers we use at home for ours.our dogs are very much sofa surfers. Unfortunately we found it a squeeze. Bed was comfortable and shower great.Towels and gowns provided! Good to have the air conditioning on hand though we didn't use it. The hot tub was great after a very hot afternoon in Bath of all places. We recommend it to anyone with small to medium size dogs as long as they aren't sofa surfers like ours. Very well situated for Somerset and North Devon coast.Cheddar Wells and Glastonbury too! We would like to return in the future!

  First time staying at Hope Farm, we stayed in Owls Retreat cottage.

  It has been updated to a great standard, and very clean and tidy. We recieved a very warm welcome from the owners and their daughter on Arrival. On entering the cottage a lovely homemade hamper with Local produce welcomed us, which was a lovely surprise. The cottage was well equipped and very clean with lovely bedding and towels and little spa samples. There is a games room in the barn so great for the kids to go and use to give you a break..It's such a peaceful area and was lovely to come back to after a busy day to relax. Throughout the stay Jane was very lovely and even took our daughter to feed the horses which she loved. Would definitely go back and also recommend to others, very close to brean and weston super mare, and some lovely restaurants which are all mentioned in the welcome book.   Although we enjoyed our week at Owls retreat, we were disappointed to find that we felt mislead regarding the description of the cottage that had no separate garden.

  The description read (Garden with lawn and furniture, communal play area available for guest use) But found it was a (communal garden) for all 4 cottages with no gate to keep safely dogs in and being nearby a road too dangerous to let them off the lead there. In saying that there was an area to the rear of the cottage that we could walk around and let dogs into when there was no horse occupy it. Just feel that this should be listed differently so people know its not a cottage with enclosed garden. On a lighter note we enjoyed the facilities in the Barn where we could play Pool, Table Tennis and table football and we enjoyed watching the horses in the riding arena from our cottage window.
