With some of the best views in Keswick, Fairview has it all. This four-bedroom family home is perfect for that large family or friends looking for their Lake District fix in a large, spacious, modern house. The central hub of this house is a fantastic open plan living/kitchen/dining area which boasts high specification appliances. With a large island and dining table seating eight, it’s great for a banquet at the end of a day full of adventure and sparks a really social atmosphere. The front of the property looks out onto the rooftops of Keswick below, Bassenthwaite Lake and Whinlatter Forest into the Distance whilst being surrounded by the neighbouring fells of Skiddaw, Grisdale Pike & Grasmoor to name but a few. Situated just off Castlerigg Brow, you can easily walk into Keswick town centre and leave the car behind, just a 15-minute stroll into the town centre, less than 1 mile away.
Keswick is vibrant with a great outdoor market and plenty of places to eat and drink. Its bustling centre has an abundance of quality restaurants, pubs, independent shops, along with plenty of delis, bakeries, coffee shops and local craft stalls. Famous for its narrow streets and courtyards, this traditional market town is one not to be missed. If you like culture, check out the Theatre by the Lake, with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, where you can hire a rowing boat.

We all really loved the accomodation . Beautiful views , comfortable clean accomodation . Well equiped perfect for our needs. We could easily walk down into Keswick but anyone with mobility issues would struggle .

Excellent location, quiet, stunning views from the front balcony across Keswick and the surrounding hills. Few niggles that let our stay down - unreliable WiFi, not as clean as other properties we’ve stayed in, and the sofas gave off an unpleasant and very strong chemically smell, almost like garlic, which impacted our comfort (not sure if the heat made this problem worse).

Our second stay in Fairview, great location and views and very spacious. Compared to our last visit in 2023, we felt it was looking little tired and in need of a bit of a spruce up as it is classed as a 'luxury' property.The description doesn't say that there is a travel cot and high chair, after enquiring and being told these weren't provided we took our own, only to find they were provided! A little clarification needed there I think.Some form of gate at the top of the outdoor front steps would be good, in order to sit on the front patio area and enjoy the views we had to create a 'barricade' there to prevent dogs escaping
