We had a lovely time at the Old Stables. The cottage had everything we needed & we were gutted not to get the chance to light the wood burner. WiFi great. Fantastic to have an ensuite for every bedroom. Lovely quiet location but only a few miles to Consett. The owner, Phil, was friendly & helpful

We had a 3 night break at The Stables. It's a lovely place to stay. It had everything we needed. The welcome pack was lovely and very unexpected. The roll top bath was fab and the king size bed was so comfy. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
