About this Hotel

The iconic Grand Burstin Hotel on Folkestone's Marine Parade overlooks the harbour and is perfect for business, leisure or Cross-Channel stopovers.  Extensive in-house facilities include the outstanding Premier Restaurant, the Ocean Bar and leisure facilities including a fitness centre, sauna, swimming pool, beautician and concierge services.  Ample hotel parking (chargeable) is available along with regular entertainment and 24 hour reception.  Lift access is to all floors.  Conference and event facilities are superb, with a wide range of function rooms available to suit all celebrations, gatherings and business meetings.  The Ocean Ballroom is perfect for very large functions, holding up to 600 delegates.

A variety of room types are available including:-

Standard Rooms with tea/ coffee making facilities - single, twin, double, triple and family rooms with either 1 double bed and a single bed or 1 double and bunk beds.

Executive Rooms - stylish Premier rooms with great sea views or with balconies.  All with modern en-suite facilities, ironing facilities and hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities.  Choose from single, double and twin Executive Rooms.

Accessible Rooms - inclusive of tea/ coffee making facilities. Double rooms.

City Rooms - double - with tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, direct dial phone, wake-up service and TV, plus desk with chair and modern en-suite facilities.  These rooms are without windows.

Sea View Rooms - twin or double - with magnificent views across to the harbour and English Channel beyond.  Traditional, homely decor with colour TV, phone, hair dryer and tea/ coffee making facilities.  All sea view rooms include en-suites with a bath and shower over.

Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 10am.  

Restaurant & Bar

The hotel has two restaurants - the Victorian Restaurant offering a Premier dining service with Chefs specials.  The Harbour Restaurant with views across to the harbour is the hotel's main dining space where we serve buffet breakfast and dinner.

Breakfast is inclusive in booking, served each day from 7.30am to 10am.  For Cross-Channel early travellers, breakfast is available from 6am. 

Lunch is served each day from 12 noon to 2pm, and dinner daily from 5.30pm to 8.30pm (8pm in the Harbour Restaurant).

The Maritime Lounge bar is the perfect space to relax with drinks.  A non-smoking lounge area is also available on the ground floor, and light snacks are served in the Brasserie area.  The Main Ballroom is open from 5pm until late.

Centrally situated overlooking the harbour, the Grand Burstin is just a short stroll from stylish Folkestone town centre with its shopping quarters including hub Bouverie Place with a mix of high street stores.  Nearby Sandgate and Hythe are famed for their antiques shopping.  Family friendly Lower Leas Coastal Park and spectacular cliff top walking around Samphire Hoe are also nearby along with the fascinating Folkestone Museum and Art Gallery. 

Find Us

The Grand Burstin overlooks the harbour.  From Folkestone station, at the end of the road take a right hand turn, heading towards Cheriton Road.  At the end of Cheriton Place, take a left turn heading to the Road of Remembrance, and you'll see the hotel on this road.

From the M20 motorway, southbound, exit at Junction 13 and simply follow clear signage for Folkestone Harbour.  The large white Grand Burstin Hotel is directly alongside the harbour.
