Located in central St Mawes village, Halcyon is a stunning holiday home by the sea offering luxurious and spacious accommodation for eight guests. Walk up the few steps and into Halcyon, and you’ll be welcomed into the ample open-plan ground floor living space. Comprising a modern kitchen-dining area and contemporary living space with feature wood burner and a beautiful bay window from which you can enjoy those spectacular sea views. The modern fully-fitted kitchen will be a highlight for any budding foodie with a large Rangemaster double electric oven with gas hob to cook on, and plenty of worktop space. The stylish dining area offers seating for eight, so the whole family can enjoy evening meals and lunches together, or if you prefer your breakfast on the go, there’s also a lovely breakfast bar. From the kitchen, double doors lead out onto the large, sunny rear garden and spacious patio area with table and chairs - perfect for al fresco dining or catching those rays of sunshine - and a private lawned area filled with a variety of shrubs and plants—the ideal space for letting children run off steam at the end of a day’s adventure. There is also a useful outdoor shower, which is perfect for washing down paddleboards, wetsuits, and sandy toes.

Taking the stairs to the first floor, you’ll find the cottage’s three bedrooms, the master located at the front of the property is spacious and bright with a super-king size bed and doors that lead out onto an amazing balcony providing superb views over St Mawes Bay and is an idyllic spot to enjoy your morning cuppa! The second bedroom has a large king-size bed, hanging space and chest of drawers, and the third, spacious bedroom offers a single bed with underneath pull out and separate bunk beds - which are great for younger children or teenagers. On this floor, you’ll also find the luxurious family bathroom plus a second shower room.

St Mawes village offers a variety of shops, art galleries, pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance from the property. From St Mawes harbour, you can take the ferry across the bay to Falmouth for more shopping, attractions and beaches, or staying on the Roseland, the pretty villages of Portscatho and Portloe are within easy reach by car. The Roseland Peninsula offers plenty to do, including sailing, kayaking and beautiful walks along the South West Coastal Path. The short walk from the harbour to Halcyon, is up a steep hill.

The property has central heating with gas bottles provided for the gas hob in the kitchen. There is also a side door from the outside of the property into the kitchen, which allows for ease of access for deliveries and for guests preferring an alternative entrance to using the front steps.

If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.
