Rose da Mar is a well-loved cottage praised for its stunning views, spaciousness, and cleanliness. Guests enjoy the local area, including nearby St Mawes, and appreciate the property's tranquility and well-equipped nature. The enclosed garden is a hit with pet owners, and the presence of an EV charger is a modern convenience. Some guests mention low water pressure in showers as an area for improvement.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-presented, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.
The location is highly praised for its views and proximity to local attractions, though the lack of amenities within walking distance is noted.
Guests find the beds and sofas comfortable and the property spacious. However, some suggest additional cushions for the sofas and note the water pressure issue.
Facilities are generally good, with an EV charger and ample hot water mentioned positively. However, several guests have commented on the poor water pressure in showers, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

At St Just Creek there is a stone beach, boatyard and boat launching point which is a 10-minute walk or a 3-minute drive away. A visit to the pretty churchyard at St Just should not be missed during your stay. Surrounded by sub-tropical gardens and nestled on the edge of the creek, there has been a place of worship here since the sixth century and there are fewer more peaceful places in the country. Lovely house with great views and plenty of room, good appliances etc. Sofas and beds comfy with gorgeous bed linen. Our only real gripe was that there could be more scatter cushions on the sofas to make them more comfy, and the showers whilst really lovely the water pressure is really very poor so you sort of had to dance around to get wet! Plenty of hot water though! Also maybe the sofas could have a clean as they are very marked but I suppose they have a lot of use with kids and dogs on them. We actually didn’t have our family dog with us this time. All in all a great house and we love the area, St Mawes is just a few mins down the road where there is a great little co-op, great pubs and food and a smashing fish and chip shop! The ferry to Falmouth is great as to is the King Harry ferry if you want to go to Turo etc by car. Heligan is fab, take your sensible footwear and take your time to breath in the clean air and enjoy the majesty of all the wonderful trees and sculptures hidden around. The restaurant is lovely with fresh food created in their own kitchen from their own produce! We shall be back as we love it in this part of the country. People lovely and friendly too.
