It lies within easy reach of Hereford, 7 miles, with its magnificent cathedral and Mappa Mundi, Malvern with its theatre, the Forest of Dean, Worcester and Gloucester. A family run farm park, Westons cider maker, several National Trust properties, the Three Counties Showground and canoeing in the Wye Valley are also easily accessible as are golf and fishing.

We have stayed at more than 20 cottages over the years. This is the first one we have stayed at, where there was not a welcome pack left by the owners. However that is not the issue, the issue was we were expecting at least a pint of milk ! No milk left and no local shop to buy any. I really think the purchase of a pint of milk is not too much to expect. I would recommend the owners provide that at the very least .

We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay at Thalassa and thoroughly enjoyed a great week exploring this beautiful area. The property was easily accessible, clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the reclining sofa, the dishwasher and the super kingsize bed for added comfort, and our pooch enjoyed running about in the generous enclosed garden. The owner was quickly on hand to help or answer questions when needed without being intrusive. We definitely recommend this accommodation.
