The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about dust and cobwebs. The overall impression is that cleanliness is a priority for the hosts.
The location is generally appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions and amenities. Some guests mentioned a desire for more local walks, but the property is well-placed for driving to nearby scenic spots.
Guests found the cottage comfortable, with cosy fireplaces and comfy beds, although there were some remarks about the beds being too small or soft. The comfort of the property is generally well-regarded.
Facilities are considered good, with a well-equipped kitchen and secure parking. However, some guests noted issues with bed quality, Wi-Fi connectivity, and hot tub restrictions, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.
While some guests appreciated the privacy and equipment provided, there were mixed feelings about the lack of a welcome pack, which is not guaranteed. As gifts are not consistently mentioned, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness.

The hot tub was fantastic, nice temperature and very private. Very friendly staff who gave a very warm welcome. The internet is very poor. So please bear that in mind if you need to do any work at all. Even using the phone hotspot didn't help much. The T.V has freeview and the internet is free if you can get it. But the hot tub and netflix incur extra costs. However- the hot tub is well worth it.

Owner (Tim) was very helpful and friendly. Comfy beds, hot shower, plenty of space in our rental made it a very cosy trip and as the WiFi is intermittent maybe enjoy a tech free break.
