This South facing cottage was formerly an artist’s studio, and has been transformed to provide a wonderful quaint cottage with high quality modern fixtures and fittings and stunning views in every direction, making it the perfect place to relax and watch the world pass by. The triple aspect reception room looks towards the historical Bolton Castle from one window, a very enviable sight, and enjoys stunning panoramic far reaching views of the rolling Wensleydale fells from the other windows, a truly magical setting. Shop 1¼ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Beautiful compact cottage, ideal for two to use as a base, clean and comfortable, and containing everything needed. In a small hamlet on the hillside without amenities which some people may not like, but we deliberately picked it for that reason!! Nearby pub within walking distance across the fields, shops a short drive away, and there is a welcoming tearoom the castle 100 yards away! Didn't use the car for several days as we just went on various walks from the doorstep, and sat out in front of the house enjoying the view across the dale, the peace, and watching swallows and swifts swooping around us, perfect!!!!!

I’ve just spent five days at Lawsons Studio in Leyburn and it was absolutely wonderful. The space is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable — the perfect place to unwind. The location is ideal too, with stunning surroundings and easy access to everything the area has to offer. It felt peaceful, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. I’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
