Guests say

Guests are generally pleased with the Nantlle apartment, praising its cleanliness, modern amenities, and prime location with stunning views of Caernarfon Castle. The property is well-furnished and comfortable, offering a home-from-home experience. Some guests suggested minor improvements and noted issues with parking and window ventilation.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with guests noting it as immaculate and well-maintained. One guest mentioned a need for a deeper bathroom clean, but this seems an isolated case against the overall positive feedback.

The location is highly commended for its proximity to local amenities and stunning views of the castle. Some guests mentioned noise and parking challenges, but these are offset by the convenience and beauty of the setting.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the property spacious. A few guests mentioned issues with heat and window access, suggesting room for improvement in ventilation.

Facilities are modern and generally meet guests' needs. However, some guests suggested the addition of items such as a full-sized vacuum cleaner, better kitchenware, and clearer instructions for appliance use.

While guests appreciate the property's amenities and the caretaker's helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

North Wales' Caernarfon in Gwynedd has a long and rich history and culture. Tourists flock to the area because of its 13th-century castle, well-preserved town walls, and lovely waterfront. Tours of the castle are offered throughout the year, as well as special events including historical pageants. The Welsh Highland Railway also has a station here, and it travels through the beautiful countryside, stopping in the settlement of Beddgelert before continuing on to Porthmadog. Attractions in the immediate vicinity of Caernarfon include Segontium, a Roman fort and museum that houses numerous valuable artefacts, as well as fishing excursions. It is ideally situated for exploring this area of North Wales with plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. We did have a problem at the end of the stay with one of the blinds and we were unable to open any windows when it was warm.
