  We booked a 2 week stay at "Armando" based on it's location and how good it looked on the Sykes website.

  We were so pleased with our choice. "Armando" is set in a lovely, quiet location but only a couple of minutes off the A39. The house is high spec and was really well presented. Easy off road parking with simple entry and exit to the house. We had no problems during our stay but Keith & Linda , the owners, were only a text away in the event of any issues. We also received a very informative email from Keith a few days in advance. Location is second to none. Falmouth and Truro are only around 15 minutes away. Other favourites of ours, Padstow, Fowey, Mevagissey and Looe are all within easy reach. Very dog friendly, with some nice local walks, our Cockerpoo, Barney, found it to be a home from home. We definitely recommend "Armando" and would readily return in the future. We give "Armando" a well deserved 10/10. It was the best holiday rental we have stayed in.   We had a fabulous 2 week stay at Armando in charming Devoran.

  The house is extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The owners (Keith and Linda ) have really thought about those special touches that make a good holiday into a great holiday and checking by email to make sure everything’s ok was a nice touch too. As for location, it’s a two minute stroll to the most magical stretch of water, great for paddle boarding and kayaking - you can store them in the garage so no need to deflate the board each time. In the evening you can watch the sun go down and hear the curlews calling … just wonderful! It never got too busy and we stayed in mid August and the weather was scorching! The local pub is a joy too, great food and friendly people. By car, Truro is just a few miles just up the road and Falmouth is just a few miles further in the opposite direction. Easy access to the great beaches, gardens and restaurants. Hope to return next year.

  We have just returned from a week's stay at Armando in Devoran.

  The cottage is very spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing break. On this occasion we had brought my mum along so she could visit a childhood friend who resides in Falmouth. She also has early onset Dementia and at first found the topsy-turvy layout a bit confusing but soon got used to it. The two of us loved sitting out on the terrace and listening to the birds. My mum commented on how quiet it was as there wasn't a lot of traffic noise. Our little dog Maisie especially enjoyed the trips to the creek which I have to say is such a beautiful place when the tide is in. Our son joined us for the last five days and he found getting around on public transport was easy with local buses and the train station not too far away. Overall, we all had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely like to return at some point again in the future. Many thanks Neil & Debbie Dawson

  A lovely property,possibly the best- equipped we have ever stayed in.

  Even provided lint eye-pads to remove make- up!Two TVs ( although we never did fathom out how to direct the cursor on the main set) , plenty of crockery,cutlery,cookware.My! Our bed was ginormous and so comfortable! Lovely showers/WCs. The poor weather meant it was not possible to enjoy the decking to full potential. Everything was clean . We did not meet the owners but Keith sounded very nice and wrote sympstheticallywhen we had to go home a day early due to a sudden health problem! We would most certainly recommend Armandos to anybody and would stay again. It may be my poor parking skills but I found it complicated trying to parallel park outside the front door without banging into the flowerbed behind!

  It was such a peaceful site perfect for my husband, myself and our dog.

  So central for all our trips, and lots to do and great places to eat nearby. Unfortunately the owners were away the week we were there and on the info left in the cabin they said as there was no washing machine they would do a wash for us, as they were not there we couldn't take this offer up. Luckily the weather was great and we were able to make do with the clothes ect we took. It would have been very different had it been bad cold and wet weather and maybe this needs to be looked at if they are away again when the cabin is booked. We are not complaining only making a suggestion. The scones jam and cream on our arrival was a wonderful surprise and really appreciated. Hopefully we can go back sometime.
