  Do not hesitate to book this cottage! This absolutely deserves 5 stars, the location is stunning, one mile from Cadair Idris paths, few mins into town and main roads out of Dolgellau, the comfort and facilities within this cottage is everything you need. And the gardens and setting is beautiful. I stayed here on my own with my pooch. Dexter loved the gardens and watching the sheep (safely from this side of the fence!) it’s open plan and so comfy, the bed is really comfortable and it’s silent and dark at night. The bath is much needed after a day of walking, which can be done straight out the front door. The owners are really helpful and approachable. There is nothing I can fault here just that I’m sad to have had to go home and will be trying to book again as soon as it is available! The weather was stunning so I didn’t even get to use the log fire but I can imagine how much more cosy it would be sitting by the flames! That’ll be a winter break for me. Please try foxes path up to lake gadair up part of Cadair Idris, and turn left out of the lane and drive to the national trust lakes and mountains through the gates along the lane. All gorgeous sneaky places to walk and rest by. Thank you to the owners for looking after this property so well and thinking of everything you could possibly need to enjoy a peaceful, tranquil break!

  High quality holiday cottage with excellent facilities, finished to a very high standard and in a wonderful location. The level of equipment was very good, we were very happy. We always holiday in the UK, but never visit the same property twice as there are so many available. However, we have re-booked this property for 2019 as we loved it so much. The cottage has pretty much everything you need, and is excellent for a dog as the garden is secure and big enough for a dog to run around. The location is excellent for exploring the area from Aberystwyth to Anglesey and there is so much to do. It rained every day of our last visit, yet we still enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning for a longer stay next time. Best of Wales have been excellent. Professional, knowledgeable. They are extremely helpful and very friendly. A pleasure to deal with. If I had a holiday home to let out, they would be my choice. I cannot fault them. The booking process is simple and hassle free.

  <strong>The cottage is just perfect, very well equipped, very cosy, we loved it, </strong>never been so relaxed on holiday and it&#39;s the best cottage we have stayed in. Our dog Bella also loved the garden. We were all very sad to leave. Barmouth was lovely and we also went to Surf Snowdonia on my partners birthday, which is an amazing place, it&#39;s not just a surf place but other water activities, a great viewing place to watch what&#39;s going on and a few cafes, it is about an hour away but the journey through the spectacular scenery is worth it. We were a bit disappointed with Swallow Falls, they are beautiful but you have to pay &pound;1.50 each to get in and it is just a view point, we thought you would be able to walk around. We just loved relaxing in the cottage garden and enjoying the amazing weather we had. This was our first time in North Wales and we loved it.

  The cottage was a real home from home in a lovely secluded place with far reaching views.The interior is superb, and the log burner was welcoming on a night. Our Leonberger Lexie really enjoyed the secure gardens and had lots of space to run around in, my wife and myself really enjoyed the peace and tranquility and the stargazing at night. From start to finish the whole holiday run smoothly and many thanks to the your staff for good communication etc also many thanks to the owners for there communication and returning my camera charger which I had left behind. Highly recommended.

  Views from cottage are excellent including garden for dog and seating etc.. Internally cottage is fine. However, fact pack non existent, no info on recycling & collection dates, including where washer & .dryer located.. In fact there is an enclosed note to state cottage will be smoke free from 2012??.therefore info requires updating.There was tree felling in grounds on Wednesday & Thursday, but we were not informed so very very noisy chain saws whilst seated in gardens trying to relax; Owner not sympathetic, when we finally received a response from her; so two afternoons ruined.
