What our customers say about their holidays
Heather - Verified booking
A lovely cottage with everything you need for a really comfortable stay for two, four people might struggle though as bathroom upstairs is an en suite, but a lovely downstairs shower room too.
The beds were so firm & comfortable we both slept so well. The cottage is really nicely furnished with 2 very comfortable sofas in the lounge. The photos don't do this lovely cottage justice, it is actually nicer in real life and that's rare! The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch and very generous. Apple TV was nice to have too. The cottage is very close to popular walks and towns, and the local pub (Sundial) is friendly and food good. Nothing to dislike about this place but a few things might be helpful to mention: Great Lavazza coffee pod machine and the coffee is really good, (better than Nespresso!) but we could not find anywhere to buy the pods which was frustrating - might it be an idea to suggest where guests could buy them locally or offer an honesty box where guests could pay to get more pods? There is a detached garden, as stated and it is really pretty. Perhaps more signage to the garden might be useful as, to get to the garden you have to go past a neighbour's garden which is all open with no fencing at all. Luckily she was gardening when we took the dogs out (she hates dogs too) so we had a friendly chat & kept our dogs off her garden. But it is a problem (especially if she's not in her garden) as dogs will naturally walk onto the first bit of garden they see. Sadly the neighbour refuses to put up a fence & is not happy that guests dogs naturally wander into her open garden as there is no fencing. We strongly suggest she puts up some sort of wicker fencing or something with a sign on her low wall to avoid future problems. It didn't detract at all from our stay as we found a lovely walk just opposite the pub to take the dogs for early morning and evening walks. The fluffy hens and ducks in garden opposite are a delight, as are the lovely little children feeding them every morning. Absolutely charming place and highly recommended! We'd love to come back for longer!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 3 Yealands!
The property is so well equipped, more so than anywhere we have stayed before. Everything you will need in the kitchen, incl microwave, large fridge freezer and washer/dryer. The owner also let us know there was a George Foreman grill available for outside but we didnât use in the end. The location is beautiful and quiet, you can walk between the different sites and explore the multiple lakes and footpaths however if you want to go further afield you may need to take the car as we struggled with the dog and baby on roads without footpaths - we read about this in advance so were prepared to do this. No issues with road noise at all for us and no issues with other visitor noise. Property was clean and tidy, lounge area spacious and comfortable. For those travelling with a baby, we managed to just fit the travel cot into the bay window of the master bedroom, got a little cold in the night so put the heating on before bed to keep your little one warm. Outside area is fully secure for four-legged friends to enjoy a rest in the sunshine. Hoover was available also to keep on top of any dog hair throughout our stay. Our only small feedback would be a couple of extra pillows. Overall, fantastic stay and we love it - would recommend and will hopefully be back again!

We've just returned from a 4 night break at the Cedar cabin, family of 4 (kids aged 2 and 5).
They loved the little play area and just the vast area they had to run around, it felt very safe for them. The cabin itself is nice and cosy but feel it needs a little updating, and a good clean! There was a lot of dust on top of the doors and down the sides of the bed, and the bed sheets had a few marks on them. We stayed in the double room, the bed wasn't the comfiest and there was only one pillow each. Also, my partner is 6'4 so couldn't stretch out because of the panel at the end of the bed. My son (5) slept in the twin beds pushed together and our daughter was in the travel cot that was provided. They both slept absolutely fine. It stated on the ad that there was a BBQ but we never found it. I'm sure if we'd asked for one though, it would have been provided. There was plenty to do within a short distance of the site, our favourite was Morecombe seaside town which the kids loved and was only a 35 minute drive away. We would definitely return back to Pinecroft in the future!

Beautiful clean and inviting on arrival.
The description of it was vague. Please note that there is no shop or bars or anything on site unless you are willing to risk the traffic on A6. The beds are small and elderly larger people do not fit in them. You can't move beds to push together for safety. The suite in lounge area is uncomfortably low and after just two days we had decided to cut the holiday short. The insurance is next to useless..it doesn't cover much at all. You can't use your Netflix account as it won't take owners details off so you can put in your own. The site is not dog friendly as they are building more caravans on the only bit of woodland and have shut the road off with cones and the sound of lorries starts about 7.30 in morning. Please note if your dog gets out by mistake there is a pond and ducks .. very close. Had this been a child instead of my dog it would have been a disaster. Sykes did ask if we wanted to move but it was too late as the holiday was a total wash out by then.

Wow, just wow!
...So pleased we came across Coach House number one....We arrived only to be met by the owner Matt. He was super friendly, explained things about the coach house and shared his knowledge on what and where to go in the area.... The coach house itself was just so lovely, spotlessly clean with a modern interior beautifully done to a high spec....there was even throws, dog bowls and mat left for our dogs, we could not fault it at all!...Enclosed garden for the dogs and parking right by the coach house just made it perfect, it had everything you needed for a comfortable stay....A few minutes walk to the nearest pub, The Marton Arms was so convenient, not having to drive. The pub was lovely with very friendly staff..we hit it off with Heather, the landlady straight away. Well worth a visit for food, superp!...For sure we will be returning to Ingleton and definitely be staying at the coach house, whether it be coach house 1, 2 or 3 Angie & Chris
