  Mill Cottage is an idyllic retreat! The cottage is cosy and comfortable and the 1 acre garden is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are comfy. During our 7 night stay we only went out for 2 days as we felt so relaxed and enjoyed sitting in the garden so much, we didn't want to leave! Our two Bernedoodle dogs had the most amazing time enjoying the freedom and exploration in the garden, as I'm sure children would too! There are seats dotted around the garden to take in the different aspects of it and to enjoy its beauty. We know the area well and there is plenty to do and see, if you choose to, in the surrounding area. The local pub, a brief walk away, offers some tasty meals on it's menu. There are some nice walks from the cottage. We highly recommend and will be returning for sure :)

  Wonderfully warm and peaceful cottage, with a lovely open fire for relaxing in front of in the evenings. Kitchen was fully equipped and all appliances were easy to use. Bathroom has a nice big bath and also has a nice power shower, both great after a decent day's walk! The main bedroom was very spacious and the large bed was extremely comfortable, resulting in a great night sleep. The large garden was fantastic, with lots of seats and benches throughout the garden to allow a different view at any time of day, and even though we stayed during a damp January/February it was still nice to be able to sit out in the garden in the morning whilst having breakfast and a cup of tea. Cannot fault the cottage or the location. Overall it was one of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in, and will return again!

  We just stayed here for the weekend and I highly recommend it! Not only is the cottage spacious and beautifully decorated but it’s in a very peaceful private road. Even better is that there are 2 pubs literally over the road! We booked this for the food festival at Snape Maltings and were so surprised to find it still free at short notice. After a day of eating cheese and quaffing Prosecco we only had a 5 minute walk back to the cottage. Bliss! The beds are very comfortable, the living room stylising designed and a gorgeously deep bath. The puzzles and games left were a nice little touch. I stayed up to 2.15am trying to finish one of the puzzles! Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

  Lovely quiet location. Pretty cottage. Beautiful kingsize bedroom. Loved the decor. Clean fresh comfy second bedroom. Open fire for logs in comfy sitting room. No history on the property whatsoever which was a shame. Kitchen clean and functional. Bathroom fresh and easy to use shower mixer. Big bath. Lots of space in the bathroom, which is located through the kitchen but is private through two doors. Garden huge, well planted with spring flowers at the front and in front of side entrance. There is a designated parking spot about 100 feet away.

  Very comfortable and quiet location. Beautifully decorated. The only suggestions I would make are: (1) Some reasonable wine glasses are provided - the only ones there were more like thick ice cream sundae glasses and awful to drink out of! Appreciate that glasses are easily broken, but inexpensive ones can be provided. (2) To provide sufficient liquid soap in bathrooms / kitchen that hasn't been watered down. These two points seem penny pinching and detract from the otherwise excellent quality of everything.
