  I can’t find the words to adequately describe the amazing Latimer House! I celebrated my 70th birthday with close family and we all had the most wonderful time, a weekend full of fabulous memories. The house is more than 5 star, luxury all the way, with a beautiful pool, games room and movie room. There was even a stunning day room, which looked out to the garden and sea beyond and where I could retreat with a glass of bubbly and a book. The location is perfect, within walking distance of a few shops and take-always in one direction or the beach and promenade in the other. The lovely Fludyers Hotel is just a few minutes away, where we enjoyed Sunday lunch and breakfast on Monday. With ages ranging from two to seventy, there was something for everyone at Latimer House. One of the best times of my life, I can’t recommend it enough.

  Mill Cottage is an idyllic retreat! The cottage is cosy and comfortable and the 1 acre garden is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are comfy. During our 7 night stay we only went out for 2 days as we felt so relaxed and enjoyed sitting in the garden so much, we didn't want to leave! Our two Bernedoodle dogs had the most amazing time enjoying the freedom and exploration in the garden, as I'm sure children would too! There are seats dotted around the garden to take in the different aspects of it and to enjoy its beauty. We know the area well and there is plenty to do and see, if you choose to, in the surrounding area. The local pub, a brief walk away, offers some tasty meals on it's menu. There are some nice walks from the cottage. We highly recommend and will be returning for sure :)

  Latimer House for us was the best equipped, spacious and most comfortable home for sharing with family, friends and a dog that we have ever stayed in. We started to relax and have fun from the minute we put our bags down in the wonderful array of bedrooms. Every one of the bedrooms was special so no arguments as to who had what room. Grandpa is now tasked with replicating the individual lighting system that was installed above each of the children's bunk beds! The views from the back of the house and indoor pool into the secluded secure garden with the sea beyond just couldn't be beaten. Other than a daily walk along the sea front in either direction we had no inclination to leave this wonderful house as it offers so much for all ages and interests. A very special place to make very special memories.

  Wonderfully warm and peaceful cottage, with a lovely open fire for relaxing in front of in the evenings. Kitchen was fully equipped and all appliances were easy to use. Bathroom has a nice big bath and also has a nice power shower, both great after a decent day's walk! The main bedroom was very spacious and the large bed was extremely comfortable, resulting in a great night sleep. The large garden was fantastic, with lots of seats and benches throughout the garden to allow a different view at any time of day, and even though we stayed during a damp January/February it was still nice to be able to sit out in the garden in the morning whilst having breakfast and a cup of tea. Cannot fault the cottage or the location. Overall it was one of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in, and will return again!

  The website pictures are beautiful - but be prepared to be blown away with the comfort, the colour theme of each room and the extra touches such as fluffy blankets in the cinema room. The design and thought put in is immeasurable, and each member of our family had a favourite room from the 1 year old to a very fit and active granny who loved being able to have a quiet swim each morning. Of our seven days in late July we only had a few showers, so able to enjoy the stunning garden space and relax a 1000%. Thank you to the wonderful Meg - that really was the final 5 star piece to a wonderful holiday.
