A Luxurious Escape: Experiencing Tranquility in Cardigan Bay Nestled along the picturesque shores of Cardigan Bay, our recent stay at the luxury bungalow proved to be an unforgettable retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of unparalleled beauty and serenity. Situated in a prime location boasting panoramic views of the bay, the property offered a mesmerizing backdrop that effortlessly set the tone for relaxation. As we stepped inside, we were immediately struck by the impeccable design and attention to detail. Every aspect of the bungalow exuded elegance and sophistication, reflecting its esteemed five-star status. The interior decor exuded a sense of refinement, with plush furnishings and tasteful accents adorning each room. From the spacious living area to the cozy bedrooms, every space was thoughtfully curated to ensure both comfort and style. The high-class finish was evident in every corner, showcasing a commitment to excellence that surpassed all expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that greeted us each morning, which was further enjoyed by sitting in the jacuzzi. The expansive windows offered uninterrupted vistas of the bay, allowing us to revel in the beauty of nature from the comfort of our own private sanctuary. Whether enjoying a leisurely breakfast or simply unwinding with a book, the stunning scenery served as a constant source of inspiration and tranquility. In addition to its idyllic setting, the bungalow boasted an array of amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. From the state-of-the-art kitchen to the luxurious bathrooms, no detail was overlooked in ensuring a seamless stay. Exploring the surrounding area proved to be equally rewarding, with an abundance of outdoor activities and attractions just moments away. Whether embarking on a scenic hike along the coastal paths or discovering quaint villages steeped in history, there was no shortage of adventures to be had. Overall, our time spent at the luxury bungalow in Cardigan Bay exceeded all expectations. We don't usually submit reviews, however we felt that the description of this property oversold it and it was in need of some tender loving care.
The points we want to draw to the owner's attention are noted below: 1. Cleanliness - crockery, tea pot and cutlery needed to be washed prior to use. Previous guests appear to have merely rinsed these items and put them away rather than throughly wash them. The washing machine also dirty resulting in marks on light coloured clothing. Rubber door seal needed cleaning and perhaps too much washing powder was used in previous washes! Spiders webs with dust were found in the bedroom and bathroom. The radiator in the bedroom was full of hair and dust. 2. Shower- the thermostat could not be adjusted, paint splatters on the shower tray 3 Bedding - flannelette sheet and pillowcases on the bed, far too warm in the height of summer 4 Other internal issues - clock in kitchen not working, fridge freezer old, fridge door doesn't always close although there is a note on the fridge saying push to close, drawer in freezer had been broken and was glued back together rather than replaced, dificult to control temperature in fridge due to its age, either freezing or not cold enough. Fruit bowl on shelf broken and although kitchen well equiped we found a lot of chipped crockery. Kitchen stools too high to comfortably sit at the breakfast bar. 5. Back garden - weeds in back seating area. Recycling bins take up a lot of room and would benefit from being all together in a stacking device. 6. Parking- Its not a quiet street, its very narrow with cars parked on both sides and no turning space at the end. Parking was a challenge and other residents asked us to move our car from the door.

Towny Hall was so spacious and homely.
It had everything you could need while away from home. Welcome basket was a nice little treat. Bedrooms were comfortable and airy. There was only a little shaving mirror to do hair and makeup in the bedrooms (owners are in process of changing this by putting bigger ones in) Having a bath to relax in was a bonus ( couldnât have window open as anyone in back could see you getting out,(not a pretty sight for them!) Garden is a sun trap, (make sure to pack sunscreen) but is a little over grown. Hot tub was wonderful to relax after the walk back from the sea, but needs to be maintained daily. Kitchen is so spacious and has everything that you would need to cook with. Fridge freezer was amazing! Louise and Dave were both welcoming as well as being new to the business and we wish them all the success for the future. We look forward to booking up again in the near future.

Although not a problem for us, the narrow twisty stairs could be a problem for others and needs to be made more clear on the description.
The kitchen was very cold compared to the rest of the house - no heating unless we had the oven on for cooking dinner. Also very poor lighting in the kitchen in winter. The sofa was quite soft compared to what we are used to - not good for back support. It was lovely to have hot water for a shower, whatever time we got back - no waiting for it to heat up. The parking was limited. The location of the house was great - we never actually used our car for the whole week. Supermarkets, bus station etc all easily walkable. Plenty of places to eat out in town. Obviously, the surrounding countryside is wonderful and we did walks and cycle rides from the doorstep as well as using the bus to go a little further afield. We were blessed with good weather, which always helps!

Beautiful property with absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The apartment was spotless and well-equipped and we enjoyed being on the outskirts of the busy town so we could walk into town and to the beaches each day. The blue folder was extremely detailed and provided all the information we needed regarding the property and things to do nearby. We loved the living space and the shared garden was perfect for our cockapoo. We also appreciated all the little touches like the milk, bread and welsh cakes in the kitchen, and the basket of spare toiletries in the bathroom. We found the front door quite difficult to lock from the outside so used the back door each day (this wasnât a problem, but may need looking at). Iâd recommend this lovely apartment to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay.
