Best dog-friendly beaches in Marazion
- Marazion Beach (East of Red River) – Dogs are welcome on the eastern end of the beach year-round, making it a perfect spot for sandy runs and ball games, even in summer.
- Long Rock Beach – Just west towards Penzance, this wide sandy stretch is dog-friendly all year and ideal for long off-lead walks. It's also sheltered, making it popular with local dog walkers.
- Perranuthnoe Beach – A short drive east, this sandy cove is dog-friendly outside of summer daytime hours in July and August.
- Praa Sands (further east) – Restrictions apply on the central beach in peak summer. Outside of these times, the mile-long stretch makes for a brilliant bracing walk.

- 🏰 St Michael's Mount – While dogs aren't allowed inside the castle or gardens, they are welcome on the harbour causeway and the village harbour area on leads.
- 🌊 South West Coast Path – Passing right through Marazion, the path gives you two excellent options: head west towards Penzance and Mousehole for easy seafront walking, or east towards Praa Sands for more rugged clifftop scenery.
- 🎨 Local galleries & craft shops – Marazion has a thriving arts scene, and many of its small galleries and studios are happy to welcome dogs inside, making for a relaxed potter around town.
