  Stayed at The Buttery, Warkworth with another couple. Fantastic accommodation, very clean, well equipped and more than we expected. One of the best welcome packs we have received. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen was great for us to enjoy together with no-one in a kitchen cooking on their own! The ‘Secret Garden’ was a lovely suntrap with it’s cosy garden ‘shed’ a great place to enjoy a tipple or two! Great location in centre of the village, close to the pubs, shops, cafe’s and river. First time we have used Coquet Cottages and not disappointed. They were a pleasure to deal with and kept me updated either by phone calls or emails on our holiday. Will certainly use again and recommend.

  Thank you Phil and Debbie for a comfortable stay in a peaceful garden and lovely, well equipped cottage. The weather has been sunny and warm. We have enjoyed a relaxing family holiday. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were very much appreciated! We loved the Kota and managed a BBQ. Thank you for the marshmallows you provided, these were delicious toasted in the dying embers of the fire. Our favourite outing was to Alnwick Gardens and we would definitely recommend a visit! Another highlight was the hot chocolate (like nothing we’ve ever experienced!) in Cabosse in Warkworth – in fact everything in there was delicious!!

  Fabulous cosy cottage for us, two kids and one dog. Comfortable, well kitted out and lovely neighbours next door. We enjoyed having a chat and buying some tasty homemade treats. The location was easy to get to everywhere locally that we wanted to see. I think this was the cleanest holiday property we have ever stayed at. There was also everything we needed for a great weekend. The kids enjoyed the seasonal treats in the welcome basket and our dog enjoyed the special liver dog treats, thanks so much. We appreciated the phone call a few days before arrival and the online guidebook is fabulous!

  Had a fantastic holiday here. The accommodation is extremely well set out and equipped, it was ideal for the four of us! The position in Warkworth is also spot on, with easy access to the centre, yet very quiet. The Kota barbecue hut was an absolute hook. We had a great time in there. A superb facility. Phil and Debbie were charming hosts that were friendly and helpful. We were lucky with the weather and got to see lots of this fantastic part of the country, some spectacular countryside with an unspoilt coastline. Many thanks for a great stay.

  Garden Cottage was well worth the research. What a gem! It is no surprise that you won the Gold Award for 2021-2022. The accommodation is delightful in every respect, with so much attention to detail. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated, thank you so much. We spent a wonderful day in Alnmouth, the weather was glorious and the beach walk and views were stunning. The Running Fox in Shillbottle provided us with a superb breakfast, which set us up for the day. We would love to return and explore the area at greater length.
