  We are frequent visitors to Warkworth and the North East, and all of our family were within walking distance of one another. Our grandchildren loves calling at their cousin’s holiday homes.Victoria cottage provided us all with comfort and living space for grandparents, parents and children. It is our best holiday home yet in terms of provision, decoration and attention to detail. I loved the art work.Our first holiday home in the North East was a touring caravan placed in a field in Alnmouth. Happy days! (37 years ago). So we have kept returning and building family memories evert since. Now we even have a private sand dune on the beach.The people of the North East are a particularly welcoming and warm people. This is very much the case at Warkworth Golf Club where visitors are most welcome. Of course we shall be returning after another memorable week.Thank you for allowing us to stay in Victoria Cottage.

  Just returned from a lovely few days stay in Warkworth at Rebecca house. Very comfortable with good furnishings in the lounge and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds. We appreciated the facility of the ensuite bathrooms, family bathroom and cloakroom. All the niceties of toiletries and lots of towels being supplied. Such a luxury. A beautiful hamper with some quality fresh bread, scones and cakes had been left in the kitchen which was more than our expectation. When we arrived the house felt so welcoming so warm with gentle soft lighting on making a lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff at letting agent who answered our queries quickly and politely, a big thank you to them. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a great base to explore this lovely interesting area, so much to see and do.

  Thank you for a wonderful week in Earl’s cottage. The cottage is beautiful! We will miss waking up in the huge bedrooms and miss relaxing in the lounge at night, with a glass of wine and a lovely tea. Charlotte, my baby, loved her little gift bag – the lion toys have kept her happy and entertained, especially in the car when exploring the coast. What a nice touch. We have been incredibly lucky with the weather (after the last few weeks!) so the week has been lovely. We visited Alnwick Gardens, Bamburgh (stunning for beach walks), Amble, Druridge Bay and went for strolls around the town. The cottage has also been out base for us attending a wedding at Charlton Hall and it was lovely to get ready here first. We will definitely be back – the cottage and Northumberland are stunning.

  We have had a wonderful week in your beautiful cottage. You have put so much effort into thinking of everything we could need to make it a relaxing home away from home. We spent our week visiting Alnmouth, Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster, Dunstanburgh Castle and Lindisfarne. We very much enjoyed the Alnwick Gardens. We enjoyed eating at The Dirty Bottles, The Hogs Head Inn, Mumbai Flavours, Leo, and had a very filling breakfast at The Running Fox. There was everything we needed to cook a few meals at the cottage as well. Also have to mention how dog friendly The Tanners Arms is if you fancy a drink in a traditional, quirky pub. The welcome hampers were a lovely treat and enjoyed by us all. We won’t hesitate to recommend Earl’s Cottage to friends and family. Thank you!

  We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Earl’s Cottage and Northumberland. The cottage has been very comfortable, and is very well appointed. It’s central in Alnwick and has made everything easily accessible. Days have been spent exploring Warkworth, Bamburgh, Cragside, Alnwick and Lindisfarne. The weather has been very kind, the sunshine allowing great visits to the areas with spectacular beaches. Our final evening was spent at The Treehouse, celebrating Peter’s birthday. The experience was made even more enjoyable as we could easily walk to and from the restaurant. Thank you Victoria & Tony – our stay has been amazing. We really appreciated the extra touches such as the welcome hamper and Alnwick Garden passes.
