Hope Square, where you will find a variety of restaurants and tea rooms along with the Brewers Quay building a conversion now housing a unique and interesting collection of shops is only a very short stroll away. The main beach with its golden sands and shallow waters is within easy walking distance or you may choose to take the charming row boat ferry and cross the harbour to the beach directly. The town centre with its array of high street shops, nine screen cinema and ten pin bowling is also just a short walk along the harbour and across the town bridge. Within a five minute walk you can reach Newton's Cove, a small sheltered beauty spot with rock pools ideal for children to explore and the adjacent Nothe Fort gardens; the perfect location for a picnic.
