Having stayed in holiday homes which offered only the bare minimum I had packed so much things, such as dishcloth, floor cloth, washing up liquid, cleaning product, salt,pepper, vinegar etc. to ensure we had all we needed. BUT none of these were needed as everything we needed was already there. Much better than other bookings. Also the welcome pack was tremendous – and made us feel very pampered. The cottage was so warm we did not need to light the fire even in December. The information file was very informative and well displayed. It was lovely to receive a phone call on the 2nd day to ensure we were happy – and we were! I will recommend Coquet Cottages to all our family & friends. We had a lovely stay, and the villagers made us feel very welcome.

The look of the cottage and the location – being in the centre of a coastal village was great. And thank you for the speedy replies when I used the instant chat function. Tower Cottage was absolutely gorgeous and catered for all our needs – everything we could possibly have wanted was there. Absolutely everything was in the welcome basket that we needed to start our holiday, the local produce – especially the bread which was delicious. And also the scones/cakes which were very welcome with a cup of tea after a long drive. We liked the welcoming cosiness created by the way it was decorated.

Fabulous apartment within easy reach of all surrounding areas. Alnwick Castle View was like a home from home, the quality fixtures and fittings and the lovely additions such as hand washes and lotions were great. We have never been to Northumberland before but we will definitely be back, it was so peaceful and beautiful all around.
