  Superb and stunning stay in a perfect location! We stayed here for 3 nights in May, landing on our feet with the weather. We have booked with Coquet Cottages previously and were confident in the quality this accommodation would provide. The views were amazing towards the golf course and sea. The location was great, it was a 7 minute walk into Warkworth village and 4 mins to the beach. Brilliant! The beds were super comfy and the Nespresso coffee machine, Netflix, and Wi-fi was great. We walked to Alnmouth and back (head up to the cycle path well before to navigate the estuary) which was about an 11 mile round trip and ended with a drink in the golf club just behind the house. We ate like kings at The Masons Arms and Bertram’s in the village. And revisited Alnwick Castle (15-20 min drive). We would not hesitate to recommend these welcoming hosts and this lovely property.   Marram House really did feel like a home away from home. You’ve thought of everything- from games/toys to keep the kids entertained to a 2nd fridge to keep our beer/ wine cool. The beds were comfortable, lovely bathrooms and everything was immaculately clean. The weather was mixed during our trip and therefore one day we sat out on the patio in the sunshine and the next we used the wood burner for a cosy night in playing board games. Marram House is really well located in the centre of Bamburgh- a stone’s throw from The Potted Lobster, a restaurant we particularly enjoyed and 2 minutes walk from the stunning Bamburgh beach and castle. We enjoyed a boat trip to the nearby Farne islands one day which is certainly recommend (Billy Shiel’s boats) and enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Craster Arms at Beadnell. A thoroughly enjoyable trip, full of memories we will treasure. We will be back!

  Very small kitchen for the number of people.

  Where were the fridge shelves? Dining room table held together with duck tape. Shower and loo cramped. Not even a tea bag to welcome us. Few mugs - always a good idea to have double the number of mugs for the number of occupants. We live in an even older house and know the problems of alterations, but divided in a different way it would have made a more comfortable residence for both families. It might be helpful to indicate on the photo just how much of the house is included in the let. Few people would elect to go up and down quite so many stairs. Not recommended for those with elderly/infirm relatives or those with very young children.

  We had an absolutely amazing stay at Larch House. The house was perfect in every way! Larch house had the right amount of bedrooms and bathrooms we needed for our family group and the virtual tour on the website sold it to us! We were all so impressed by Coquet Cottages- we are a well travelled group but the level of customer service and attention to detail is so impressive, from the phone calls, text messages to the house app! We honestly will never book with anyone else when we return to this part of the world! Really well done- I know hard you must work behind the scenes to make things as great as they are!

  Marram House is absolutely wonderful. It is homely, light, spacious and very clean. The bedding is wonderful and the beds are super comfy. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. We enjoyed having breakfast outside in the garden, enjoying the morning sunshine. It is in the most fantastic part of the village with the outside parking being an absolute bonus. Lauren was super helpful and we even got an email asking if everything was alright! In a nutshell – a wonderful holiday home rental, in the heart of this amazing village. Thank you!
