This delightful house is set in a relatively quiet situation, close to the Leeds-Liverpool canal. The centre of the charming market town of Skipton is just a half mile walk and the railway station is also within walking distance. Skipton is known as the 'Gateway to the Dales' and is therefore an ideal base from which to tour this stunning National Park.  Within an hour's drive are the Lake District, York and Haworth, known as home of the Bronte sisters.

Skipton

Skipton is a market town located on the course of the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to the south of the Yorkshire Dales. Skipton is able to boast Skipton Castle, constructed in 1090. Skipton became a prosperous market town, trading sheep and woollen goods and still has a cobbled street, Sheep Street.

The town provides an ideal base for a walking trip and is close enough to the Dales and the Lakes for days out.
