  Lovely <br />This was a comfortable, well furnished and spacious property in an excellent town center location. It is expensive but good value for money in terms of quality and the numbers it can sleep. There is lots of storage. Access from the Smith Street door is easier for pets and older and younger guests. The place is very well stocked for stair gates for both children and animals. The kitchen can be easily dog-proofed as well. The cabin bed above the en suite is bigger than it looks in the photos and a better adult size than expected. The two spiral staircases are awkward when carrying things, but have good hand holds and are safe for a range of ages. The kitchen is a lovely place to sit, cook and even wash up. Gorgeous view out of the en suite bedroom at night. Low windows make the living room very public for use during the day but it is comfortable and privacy is not a problem once the curtains are drawn. Wants - a coffee table in the living room and a splash-back behind the cooker please! Otherwise, lovely. When you come to replace the furnishings, darker carpets would be less scary for family use but the ground floor is well furnished in this respect. Can you consider beds without feet in future as well as most of my family are over 6'.

  Relaxing and peaceful <br />We really enjoyed staying at The Old Bakery. It was well situated to access the town centre as well as being a great base to explore neighbouring beaches and towns. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, but there was just the two of us so we didn't utilise it to the max! It's character was lovely, although the quirky winding stairs was more of a challenge for my taller husband than me. Although it didn't stop us enjoying our stay, there was a slight feeling of staying in someones house rather than a rental as there was a pile of post in the kitchen, and more being delivered whilst we were there. We would definitely stay again.

  Amazing <br />My family and I had an amazing holiday, and our holiday home was the best yet!! It was far more spacious than we thought could be possible-and every effort has been made to make sure the house was child /toddler friendly, stair gates toys high chair etc. The children's bedroom with stairs that lead into our bedroom was a beautiful touch and the kitchen/diner made for a great family atmosphere. The property was clean and felt like a home for a week. We came as two parties together and there was enough space and communal area to thoroughly enjoy the stay. Low ceilings for my 6'5 husband but other than that no flaws at all!!!

  Just right<br />House was as advertised and as per pictures. Very clean and functional and excellent for our 14 month old son. It had everything you will need for a short stay including a washing machine. The tea bags and coffee was a nice touch too. Bed in the main bedroom was big and comfy and the room was airy and bright as was the second room. The location was cracking and a short walk to Kingsbridge centre. Parking could be an issue but we got lucky with the 2 hour spaces outside the house and also a space in the car park opposite the house. There is a lovely park opposite the house that was just perfect for our little one.

  This was a lovely little cottage to stay in for the week. Modern interior, very clean, and a quick walk to the nearby high street which had most shops you'd want / need. Don't be put off by the lack of garden, there is a small park directly opposite the house only a few steps away which was useful for those evening toilet trips for the dog. We were concerned about the lack of parking however we alternated between the few on street parking spaces directly outside the house, and the small car park next to the park opposite the house, and we always managed to find a space throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning!
